With the warm rays of summer shining down upon us, the Wards 7&8 PDSB community came together for an unforgettable Celebrate Summer Break 2023 Community Event, hosted by Trustee, Karla Bailey in partnership with Councillor, Rod Power. This event was a true testament to the power of collaboration, unity, and the spirit of our school community. Today, we want to express our heartfelt appreciation to all of you who attended the event and extend a special thank you to our incredible sponsors, dedicated volunteers, and supportive partners.
First and foremost, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Dream Parties, the creators of the delicious cupcakes that delighted our taste buds and added sweetness to our event. Their generous support and delectable treats brought smiles to the faces of young and old alike, making the event even more memorable. We are immensely grateful for their contribution and their belief in the power of community celebrations.
Next, we want to express our sincere thanks to Upsurgence for their generous contribution towards the ice cream truck. Their support allowed us to provide refreshing and delightful frozen treats to everyone, bringing joy and relief from the summer heat. Last but certainly not least, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to Sky Laark Designs for their contribution to the custom printed t-shirts.
