Your vote in Wards 7 and 8

Beat the lineup. Any eligible Brampton voter can vote at any advance location, whichever ward you live in.
On voting day you vote inside your own ward, at the location the City assigns to your address.
Your ballot in Wards 7 and 8
Wards 7 and 8 vote together as one area. You will mark four choices, and the school trustee is one of them.
Your trustee ballot matches the school board you support. English public school supporters vote for the Peel District School Board trustee. You can check which board you support when you look yourself up on the voters list.
Where to vote early
Two advance locations are right here in our wards: Earnscliffe in Ward 7 and Greenbriar in Ward 8. All 10 are open to you, sorted by how close they are to Wards 7 and 8. Pick a day to see what is open.

Every location has an accessible voting unit and accessible parking. Distances are measured from the centre of Wards 7 and 8, so treat them as a guide.
Can I vote?
You can vote in Brampton if all four are true on voting day.
- You are a Canadian citizen
- You are at least 18 years old
- You live in Brampton, or you own or rent property here
- You are not prohibited from voting by law
You can still vote if you are not on the list. Bring your ID and you can be added at the voting location.
What do I bring?
One piece of ID showing your name and your Brampton address. It does not need a photo.
- Ontario driver's licence
- Ontario Photo Card
- Hydro, water or cable bill
- Bank or credit card statement
- Lease or mortgage statement
- Property tax assessment
- Income tax assessment
- Pay stub or T4
Where do I vote on October 26?
On voting day you vote at one assigned location inside your own ward, and the City matches it to your address. Enter your address in the City's lookup and it will tell you your ward and exactly where to go.
