Board Meetings

The monthly Board Meetings serves as a recurring opportunity for trustees to review and address key matters related to the governance of the PDSB. During these meetings, trustees engage in discussions, receive reports from the board staff, and make important decisions that shape the educational landscape of the Region. They evaluate the progress of ongoing initiatives, review financial matters, and monitor the implementation of policies and programs. Through these regular gatherings, trustees maintain a proactive and responsive approach to addressing the evolving needs of the PDSB and fostering student success and well-being.

The public session of Board and Committee Meetings are held using the hybrid model which means that Trustees may attend the meetings in person or virtually. All Board and Committee Meetings are live streamed for public viewing. This includes Committee meetings for the Curriculum, Equity and Student Well-Being Committee, Physical Planning, Finance & Building Committee, Audit Committee, and the Governance and Policy Committee. All meeting recordings are posted to the PDSB website after the meeting.

All meetings are open to the public. Members of the public have opportunities to attend Committee Meetings as a delegation.
